Laura Kelly started doodling at an early age and has turned her artistic talents into a collection of unique art that is fun and playful. Formerly an elementary school teacher, Kelly launched her first licensing agreement in 2003 with Checks In The Mail. Since that time, she has been creating art that mixes and matches through use of designs, colors and themes. Her art has been used on a wide variety of products including school-related items, tissues, chocolates, cookies, stationery, magnets and soaps, just to name a few.
With over 13 years in the retail and personalized stationery worlds, Kelly’s art, based on life, real people, relationships and families, has been proven to be a success. Her ever popular Paper People collection with their vast array of accessories (originally launched in 1995) was truly the beginning of something magnificent. Her boldly colored and whimsical art has quite an audience as it is highly recognizable, fun and empowering. When she's not creating her unique designs, you can find her gardening, baking, cooking and spending time with her wonderful family.
